More Gooses

The population is growing. But aren't the puppies so cute? The second one, of the two goslings, has an oil painting effect applied to it since the picture itself was just so-so. I think that saves an otherwise throw-away photo.

Lily Pad

Thought it looked nice with the rain drops and cherry blossoms on it.

Cinco de Mayo

Today marks five years for me as a non-smoker. Cravings are gone with the exception of some occasional weak ones.
I still miss smoking but I will probably never start again. I have a good incentive not to.
I figured out the reason I still like the smell of cigarettes: I always did...even as a child I loved the smell of them. I do get grossed out by the residual smell on clothing etc., but not the smoke itself.

Day ??? - May 3

I lost count of the days again (123 ~ed). I know before, I was a day off from Bethany's count - not sure why that was but I'm pretty sure mine was correct. I think what happened is she counted the days from the first day and I counted all the days including the first. What do you think, Beth?

May 2 - More Flowers

It's the time of year I guess. Flowers are such co-operative, patient and photogenic subjects.

Changing of the guard...

The sparrows apparently bought out the bluebirds. Times are hard. Hopefully they have family they can stay with until they get back on their feet. Or is this a case of home invasion? The bluebirds have not been seen and could not be reached for comment.

I just want to fly. April 19th

BooBirds

I "planted" this post and attached the bluebird house, and before I knew it - actually seems like a matter of minutes - the bluebirds were at the real estate office passing papers.
