My new camera - Canon EOS 50D

And I think I forgot to mention I retired the LG VX 8600 and replaced it with a Samsung Rogue, a couple months ago.

Liberty

Did an experiment in reverse lens macro, using a 50mm f1.7 Minolta Rokkor lens on my S5's extension tube. Although the S5 has Super Macro, I just wanted to see if this would work...it did.
I don't remember now, if the full penny was taken with that setup or using Super Macro, but the Liberty was taken with the reversed lens.

This mini tripod folds small enough too keep in my pocket or camera bag, so I don't know why I always leave it at home collecting dust. I'm gonna bring it around with me more often I think.

Just been too busy to do any real shooting lately. Shame on me.

Playing with 1-second exposures.

11:09 PM ~ ISO 800, f2.71, shutter speed 2 sec., post: straightened, resized and sharpened (always sharpen after resizing)

Same picture, enhanced...increased color saturation, brightness, contrast, straightened, resized, unsharp mask and sharpened. and possibly some other stuff I don't remember doing, as I saw fit.

Yup.

Was testing the focus, flash, etc., on the camera. Hasn't seemed too good lately but some of these came out OK so maybe it's just me having to slow down and take my time.
I don't usually post exciting and magnificent photos such as this one, but maybe I should try harder to do so.
The good news...this was actually taken on 9/16. Ha!

Pinwheel flower spinny thing. April 12, 2009

I've had this wind-spinny thing for I dunno, 15+ years. Maybe much longer than that, I'm not sure. It's almost like an old pet.
It still does its job anyway, so I don't need a new one yet. lol.

Grasping at straws 3/7

It's not been a very productive time for photos to be honest...you've probably noticed I'm struggling to get caught up. This is a headlight I bought before I bought a much better one. I was experimenting again with product photos.

I was trying to get my stuff organized and decided to arrange it and take a pic. I sure do have a lot of flashlights. There's 4 or more (big ones) that aren't shown here too.
Anyway, now it's all in one place but still not organized. I'll get there.

My cameras ~ January 22

As taken by the FujiFilm, since I've already posted a pic of that. On the left is the one I recently bought (used) - a Canon EOS Rebel G 35mm. On the right is my Canon PowerShot (digital) I've had for almost a year. In the front, between the two, is my LG camera phone.

FujiFilm - January 9

Got a star filter and was practicing "product photography". Again I overdid it with post-processing on this one, mainly oversharpening it. Overbrightened (is that a word?) it too. Still I think it came out good and the camera's many minor scratches are pretty much "washed" out.
This is a picture of my Fuji camera which I am rarely caught without. It's the main one I use in my paranormal investigations too.
