No I wasn't parked there.

I really need to get out there and do some shooting. You'd think with all the fall foliage, and Hallowayne, etc., I'd be a regular photo factory.

Playing "catch-up" again...

Not sure what this plant is...some sort of begonia I think, and this is one of the flowers from it (another picture of this plant in the Sunday, Oct. 11 blog entry). Ain't it purty?

Not sure I like this new editor. It's very difficult to work with. I'll give it some more time though. This is part of the failed tomato crop. As you can see, there were some fine looking fruits there before the disease destroyed them. *sigh*

Late Sunflowers

This whiteboard was basically unusable for a couple years because someone drew on it with permanent marker, so I decided we had nothing to lose and took a chance with a strong graffiti remover and some serious elbow grease...got it pretty decent and at least usable. The next day this message was written on it. Awww. It's nice to be appreciated. I hope it can be erased. lol

Tomatoes

The tomatoes in the garden this year took a fatal turn for the worst, as what i believe was a blight (early AND late from what I've read) caused them to all rot on the vine. In some cases the plants themselves died earlier this summer. I thought it was only because of poor soil, as it's a new garden and some parts of the garden had huge trees growing the previous year.
Better luck next summer (I hope).
