MHS Class of 1979, 30 year reunion!

A good time was had by all. I'm very happy I went. What made it better than previous reunions was that many of us have connected prior to it on Facebook so there were many more familiar faces there, having already seen their pictures. Plus our name tags had our senior pictures on them which helped identify people even if the names didn't ring a bell.
The slightly down side is, I was one of two people who were supposed to take a lot of pictures, yet I got shy and only took a dozen or so photos, only ending up with about 10 possibly usable ones. Luckily though, the other person took a lot of pics, and other classmates got many good photos as well, which they posted on Facebook. I don't think they'll mind contributing to the slide show.

Almost

First of all, happy 25th anniversary to my brother Scott and his wife Debbie.
As for the subject, "Almost", their anniversary party tonight would have been the first time in many years (15? 20?) that all five of us (brothers/stepbrothers) were in the same place at the same time, but Paul had car trouble and didn't make it. So we had someone stand in for him. Thank you, Elvis. This was the first time seeing David in well over 15 years!

2009 Onset Blues Festival

Jason, Ryan and I went to the Onset Blues festival. Last year I went as Miss Massachusetts' photographer. I enjoyed it so much I made it a point to go again this year (this time as a paying patron) and it may become an annual ritual from now on. We all had a good time.

Then back to Plymouth

...for the fireworks. I have to admit they were probably better than I originally told people, after seeing my video (see very bottom of this post). It was my first time seeing them in Plymouth.

I think I was more preoccupied with trying to get good photos of them, which I didn't do so well.

The whole atmosphere was great though, as well as hanging with friends.

Traffic was absolutely horrible afterwards, so we walked around by the waterfront for awhile.

Police boats (Harbor Masters) standing by while the many boats were taken out of the water and loaded up on their trailers.

There were a few bands playing in the few bars around. Local bands I assume but sounded great and added to the whole atmosphere.

After enduring the traffic, we finally got home at about midnight.

They're heee-e-e-re!

...and "don't go toward the light" and all that cliche stuff. This is a shot of Mike and Chloe who were dancing at Chloe's Dad's wedding reception. The camera's auto settings were still set for inside, when I took this near the open door.
More of the reception here (if it allows you to see it).

P.S. Just HAD to post this video Mike and I took (and I edited) from the reception.
