Oliver Mill Park

I'll try this again using a tripod...I was just experimenting and it came out better than I expected - good enough to post, but certainly not perfect. lol. Stay tuned.

Speedy Red Car

Made this as part of a photo assignment, using slow shutter speed to express motion.

f16; 1/13 sec; 100mm; .3 exposure compensation (only because I forgot to change it back from a previous photo. oops, but didn't hurt anything.)

Active Iris

My error caused the accidental slow shutter speed that caused the fast-moving plant to be blurred. I actually, for some reason, like the way this came out. *shrug*

This happens alot.

I had the ISO set high which accounts for the graininess. It's a new shot of an old favorite and I'm trying not to do too many OMP photos this year. lol.

Update: This photo is worse that I thought. I may end up replacing it...

New BG

I needed a temporary new background for the MA-RIPT.com website (click the title of this blog entry to go there) that was similar to the existing one (which I also made), so I made a new one. I like it, except the small text is a little hard to read. If it wasn't just temporary, I'd worry about it.

Self Portrait?

Took this with my cell phone. I liked the flash hiding my face but when I over-processed it, it looks like my head exploded...which would be quite an accomplishment to catch as a self portrait.

Cold Feet

I mentioned to my friend/coworker that I still needed a picture of the day. She said "take a picture of your foot". Seemed kind of random, and kind of silly, since my feet are in tough shape, but later, at home, still at a loss, I decided it was a better idea than I had (*none*) but I would have to seriously post-process the photo. So here it is. Won't my friend be proud. lol
