On the way to the canal I stopped for a few minutes in Onset. I didn't even get out of the truck but took a few mediocre pictures out the windows.

My Birthday

Took the night off from work for my birthday. I had an appointment for physical therapy, but after that the day was mine. Had dinner at the 99 restaurant, took a few random photos in Onset, MA and visited my bro and his gf, John and Kristina. When I got home the effects of the PT began to kick in, plus I was still being punished for all the the fried food I had for dinner. Despite that, it was a good day.

2009 Onset Blues Festival

Jason, Ryan and I went to the Onset Blues festival. Last year I went as Miss Massachusetts' photographer. I enjoyed it so much I made it a point to go again this year (this time as a paying patron) and it may become an annual ritual from now on. We all had a good time.

Took some boat pictures today.
Yes, the previous one was a joke. I purposely blurred the actual scene and thus enhanced the lady packing up her gear for the day. I did try my hand at people photography though, but all candid stuff because I'm still very shy. I think ladies have more willing strangers as subjects than men do.

I have been having trouble with my rechargeable batteries lately and especially today. I dunno if it's the charger or the batteries, but I'm tempted to throw out the whole she-bang and use alkalines and lithiums...but there's a lot of money invested in rechargeables. *sigh*
