The case of the disappearing photos.
It used to happen from time to time - now it's happening a lot more often. After posting my photos in here which I have hosted for years on Fotki dot com, the urls change causing my blog to have many blank placeholders.
This is not meant to be a rant - just letting people know why there are so many missing photos.
Unfortunately, I can't take the time to keep fixing the links.
Enjoy what's left. Thank you.

Changing of the guard...

The sparrows apparently bought out the bluebirds. Times are hard. Hopefully they have family they can stay with until they get back on their feet. Or is this a case of home invasion? The bluebirds have not been seen and could not be reached for comment.

that looks like a house sparrow, which often is a problem for some native bird species. House sparrows are an introduced species from Europe, and so are not native to North America. I've read that they sometimes do exactly what this one did.
