...and "don't go toward the light" and all that cliche stuff. This is a shot of Mike and Chloe who were dancing at Chloe's Dad's wedding reception. The camera's auto settings were still set for inside, when I took this near the open door. More of the reception here (if it allows you to see it).

of my friend/coworker's car, lit by an outdoor light on the building and the camera's built-in flash. I had to use software to bring the rest of the car out of the darkness, then blur the parking lot and background around it, and to smudge the license plate.
Really just a photo of the sun and some dark clouds, exposing the shot for the bright sky near the sun caused the camera to darken the whole thing, the effect I wanted. Then I further adjusted the contrast, etc., using software.
