Also from the correct date. Somehow I wonder if I should have not been so honest...now having confessed, you may think the whole year has been a farce...perhaps I took all the pictures last year. lol
Anyway, the steering wheel cover in my truck...removed from my Blazer when I got rid of it. I always carry an item over from the old vehicle to the new one...never thought about it, but I'm realizing now that's what I do. Cool tradition though, I'll certainly continue it.

Yup.

Was testing the focus, flash, etc., on the camera. Hasn't seemed too good lately but some of these came out OK so maybe it's just me having to slow down and take my time.
I don't usually post exciting and magnificent photos such as this one, but maybe I should try harder to do so.
The good news...this was actually taken on 9/16. Ha!

Cheating like crazy here...

...as the last three days including this one, were taken on 9/13. least they're not all the same subject. And as I'm sure everyone knows, I've cheated like this often, since the beginning!

Dead Oak

~~Day 256 (I'm pretty sure)~~
Dark skies behind sunlit trees have always been one of my favorite scenes. Even better when the trees have leaves on them, but this is nice too.

090909 ~ We like the moooon...

...or "someone took a big bite of the good green cheese".

Not the best moon photo...handheld and all.
The challenge for a good moon pic continues.

Well...these trees are just as dead now as they were when I took the photo a year ago.

Almost

First of all, happy 25th anniversary to my brother Scott and his wife Debbie.
As for the subject, "Almost", their anniversary party tonight would have been the first time in many years (15? 20?) that all five of us (brothers/stepbrothers) were in the same place at the same time, but Paul had car trouble and didn't make it. So we had someone stand in for him. Thank you, Elvis. This was the first time seeing David in well over 15 years!
So, left to right: Wayne, Scott, Paul, David, John
