I was watching her, and I thought she was watching me. What she was actually doing was guarding "her" flowers. Every time another hummingbird came to the flowers, thinking they were going to have a treat, and me thinking I was going to get a good photo, she would divebomb the intruder and they'd both fly off together. Then she would return a few minutes later until it happened again. Fun to watch but frustrating to photograph. lol

Yes, I think video of them chasing each other would be awesome. My EOS 50D however, doesn't have a video feature. Maybe I'll bring another camera out there. I did make a video of hummingbirds a few years ago if you're interested in seeing it:

it's actually a really good photo. and the green, leafy background and the tangle of branches enhances the look of the photo.
